Crossroads Exit Ceremony 2016

APS Superintendent Rico Munn addresses the Crossroads Transitional Center's class of 2016.

The 2016 graduation season has officially begun, and Aurora Public Schools kicked off its latest round of pomp and circumstance with a ceremony honoring students from the Crossroads Transitional Center.

Nearly 20 students graced the stage at the APS Professional Learning and Conference Center to receive their program completion certificates, a prelude to the graduation ceremonies they will soon take part in for their home high schools. Families, classmates, various APS staff and members of the Board of Education cheered the graduates on as Crossroads teachers said a few words about each of the honorees, including a summary of their work experience and future plans.

The Crossroads Transition Center program continues to provide critical services to students who need help in gaining independence in the community and work settings as they transition out of high school.

Congratulations to the Crossroads Transitional Center class of 2016! APS is proud of your determination to continue shaping a successful future.
